Why did they stop the hida scan (without cck) before testing the ejection fraction? can't that be a problem of its own?

Yes: Did they have CCk? It is not generally available. Have to substitute standardized fatty meal. Otherwise results are equivocal. Sometimes clinicians will not use CCK if suspect acute obstruction of biliary system or if no activity is in gall bladder. Should ask institiution performing the test for explanation. CCK or fatty meal substitute gives indication of gall bladder function.
