5-7 days: Colds usually colds last 5-7 days. If you know it is a cold and not the flu, staying at home drinking fluids, resting and using saline nasal spray or tylenol (acetaminophen) (if you are not allergic) for help with fever or aches. If you have the flu or had the flu vaccine, you should check with your doctor because some additional meds may be helpful. Feel better.
