This is why: it is not recommended to test people unless you are really going to treat. First, without an exam, I can only give general information Second, it is in the normal range Third ... well... it gets complicated. The test can misfire in that range if its the radioimmunoassay. Different things can make the level low. Drugs of abuse, head trauma, previous mumps. Be willing for doc to say you're normal.
