Fontanelles, alert?: Your toddler's noggin is probably fine. Keep an eye on your infant's head & neck. Is the baby awake, alert & eating normally, or sleepy/sluggish & not really interested in food or stimuli? Are the baby's fontanelles normal or puffing out suggestive of swelling? Safest thing to do, since he's so fragile at this age, is to get him examined now by a pediatrician or ER doc who will do the best exams.
