Go see ur family doc: Just because you didn't have a blood clot in other leg doesn't mean you don't have a blood clot in this one. Lack of movement eg transoceanic flights & major surgeries, birth control pills, etc as well as certain genetic conditions eg thrombophilia can increase risk for blood clots. Perhaps you've strained your muscle. Maybe electrolytes aren't balanced eg hypokalemia or hypomagnesemia. Go see doc

Calf muscle pusatile: It sound like muscle fasciculations in the calf muscles, Tired muscles may have those feelings until gets used to that activities, but if happens in different parts of the body have it examined by a Neurologist.

Difficult without:: examination. Depends on any injury, activity(ies) you might be participating, rupture of a synovial cyst behind the knee, may cause similar symptoms. Suggest seeing your PCP and I would also test for a Clot on this side. Good Luck.
