Ortho: see ortho to recheck for any nerve damage or chronic bone irritation The provider should look at xrays or even CT of the wrist A nerve conduction study also can determine where the problem is also If they find no problem then go to the pain center

Something more seri: It is more than likely what we call Complex regional pain syndrome. Go see a pain specialist as soon as possible. They have resources but sooner the better. Unfortunately it is a very complex and lengthy treatment
