Physical therapy: Non healed sprain can cause persistent pain and loss of function. Simple exercises like a stress ball or even use a hand grip device (sold at most sports stores). If do something that aggravates it, put an ice pack immediately x 20 mins or wear a brace. Also take an OTC anti-inflammatory med like ibuprofen or naproxen. If not better physical therapy or an steroid injection may help
