Natural fixes: In general, the juices from fruits with a "P" loosen stools.Prune juice (full strength) is the most helpful, and for a 1 yo a couple ounces 1-2X/d may help. Limiting applesauce, bananas, and rice cereal and assuring proper hydration also helps.Milk is often blamed for constipation but I find might be in some but not fot most kids.
