What else do u eat?: A pint a day of milk (whole? Lower fat? Skim?) should not be the cause of constipation. Are you getting enough fiber containing foods, like whole grains, beans, fruits and vegetables? Adequate other fluid intake? Enough fat intake? Physical activity? Other meds that can cause constipation?

Total amount of milk: & milk products (like cheese, etc.) counts. Chronic constipation can lead to diverticulosis & needs to be managed aggressively. See your primary care doctor for evaluation & treatment. (s)he may refer you to a gastroenterologist.
