Yes: I would recommend to stop the paxil, (paroxetine) call your doctor in the morning. Take 10 mg of certrizine now and if any difficulty breathing or swelling of mouth or throat to the ER. Good luck

Edema: Please discuss wtith your doctor. Edema and peripheral edema may occur in 1 to 10% of people taking Paxil. Thus this falls into the "common" category for side effects.
