What are the tests for envrionmental allergies?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

2 main tests: There are 2 main tests for environmental allergies (pollen, dust, animal dander, mold, etc). #1 = skin testing and #2 = blood testing. Skin testing is the most commonly used test but it requires needles. Blood testing is just one or two vials of blood (1 needle stick usually) but it is expensive and not as broad as skin testing. As an allergist i prefer skin testing as the most accurate test.
