Balanced meals: A good breakfast, like other meals, should be balanced, with about 55% calories from complex carbs ( fruits, vegetables, whole grains), 15% from lean protein( eggs)and 30% from good fats ( ex: olive oil). A healthy plate with be half filled with fruits and vegetables 1/4 meat ,eggs or fish and 1/4 with grains.

Healthy breakfast.: With the understanding that breakfast is an important meal in your day, start generally with leaner and more energizing choices. Cereals rich with complex carbohydrates and fiber for sustained energy, with skim or 1% milk to keep it lighter. Low fat yogurt and fresh fruit. Egg whites and whole grain toast. Try to avoid fatty breakfast meats. Keep your proteins lean.
