ADHD: Abilify (aripiprazole) and Ritalin are two completely separate classes of medications. It is unlikely for you to react the same way. Ability is an atypical antipsychotic and Ritalin is a stimulant used to treat ADHD.

Not necessarily: Ritalin and Abilify (aripiprazole) are chemically unrelated drugs. While they may share some of the same side effects, the mechanism of action is very different. While it's certainly possible, it's not inevitable that you'll experience facial twitching with Ritalin solely because you experienced it with Abilify (aripiprazole).

Different meds: Ritalin (methylphenidate) and Ability are different meds and will produce different main-effects and side-effects. If you do SCIENCE and manipulate one variable at a time, i.e., take only one of the meds at a time, you will find out if that one med causes a side effect. Two meds taken together can cause an interaction-effect and one needs to find out which is the cause or if it is just an interaction of the two.
