Is there a safe way to remove ear wax for a child with tubs? our ent is no longer available and he is bothered by the wax build up.

See your Pedi: i would have your Pedi or FP take a look first. I would not put anything in the ear, more so with PE tubes. If your ENT is not avilable, find who is in his place, as your child will need follow up with ENT.

Not at home: Remember, "The only thing you should put in your ear is your elbow". Ear wax is a natural substance that helps trap dirt from the environment from accumulating in the ear. The only part of the ear that you should clean is the part that you can see. You can wipe away what you can see, but NOTHING goes in the 'hole'. If there is build-up inside your pediatrician can help remove it even with tubes.
