No itch your done: A good coat of permethrin should do the trick. It will take some time for the nodule swelling to go away. If the itching is gone you can feel comfortable that you did the job. Remember to wash the bedding, clothes etc and you may need to treat other members of the family.

Scabies nodule: It may take a few weeks for the nodules to go away. Once the scabies is eliminated there is a small reaction and the skin will heal over next week or two.
