Unexplained swelling: Is it still swollen? or was it just temporary? I would not expect lack of oral hygiene to cause this. If it was just temporary, perhaps an allergic reaction to food, medication or topical irritant (or angioneurotic edema ?). If it is still there, you must see a physician for an initial consultation.

Swollen lips: Very little info in your post. Are your lips still swollen after three months? If so, you should have been seen by your dentist, an oral surgeon, or your physician about three months ago. You need to be seen to make the proper diagnosis. Please call for an appointment.

Vague: Could be an allergic reaction to some food, supplement, med, etc. I would be seen by a Dr. just to be sure

See a PCP: Lip swelling may be related to a local or and it can be the earliest sign of a systemic disease. See your doctor for evaluation, tests and treatment.
