How quickly does swallowing air enter the small intestine? large intestine?

Estimate: Within a few minutes as long as no obstruction to outlet of stomach.Large intestin would probably take several hours. In a newborn who is born with airless abdomen it takes usually up to 12 hours for air to get through entire small bowel and 24 hours for entire large bowel.
