Heavy periods: It is important to see a doctor-an ob-gyn- and nothing to be embarrassed about, as that is what they do. Ask to see a female if you have concerns. Your increased bleeding(menorrhagia) can be fibroids which can be seen on sonogram or emdometriosis. There are new medications for heavy bleeding ( Tranexamic) or birth control /progesterone to regulate the bleeding but you need to see a doctor.

See MD anyway: Find out what's wrong, get relief. Whatever you've got, whatever history you give, whatever physical findings you have, your doc has seen and heard it before, is familiar with it, or can refer you to someone who is.

See the doctor!: It is concerning that you are having heavy and prolonged bleeding with severe cramps. There could be an underlying serious condition beyond "regular" menstrual issues, and at the least you need to have your blood count and iron stores checked to make sure you are not anemic. All this can also make your postural hypotension and tachycardia worse. Keep well hydrated and see the doctor ASAP!
