A member asked:

Perfect blood tests except high iron 1st time ever. 28 yrs old, iron supplements only during period. 2 boxes of spinach per week. any other causes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it would have been helpful to have the actual lab value. In any case, if you are not iron deficient you can stop taking supplements but do not need to make any other change to your diet.
