See a dermatologist: Common reasons for recurrent/ persistent itch, flaking, redness in external ear include allergy to neomycin in ear drops, use of irritant such as peroxide, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis. Chronic fungus infection is very unlikely.
