It could if the: muscles involved in panic are constricting more on one side, thus reducing blood flow. However, this is a bit of a stretch, so check this one out first with a neurologist or possibly a vascular MD. Also, learn to deal with anxiety and see if this makes a difference. Am skeptical that your focal numbness is convincingly due to anxiety, but regardless, will add to your anxieties. Exclude central nervous system organic disorders. A neurologist can help
