I have a cold sore that never broke open, is nearly healed. treated with valtrex, (valacyclovir) but i kissed someone/had oral sex. what is risk for partner?

Difficult to tell..: We cannot predict the probability of an infection with a sore. IF it was present even though was not opened if the virus is contained in it there is always a possibility of giving it to the other person. If what is left is just a scar then it means it is not actively contagious.
