My daughter has a hard time keeping down any kind of formula, she spits it all back up. we even tried to put rice in her formula and that don't work.

Spitting: Keep a record of her intake. If she is thriving it is not as worrisome. If not she may need a barium swallow. If there is any blood in her vomitus she may need a proton pump inhibitor. Reglan (metoclopramide) may also be a drug that would help. See your doctor for assessment and decisions. Usually thickening with rice cereal is about the only thing that works. All the best.

See MD: There are many causes which may cause a child to spit up. Your daughter should be checked by her pediatrician to determine the exact cause. Spitting may not only be due to the formula.
