A member asked:

Mri shows slight trapped nerve endings in lumber, thoracic spine, also showed a fifth ventricle, what is it and why do i have it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Slight trapped nerve: If the radiologist read the report as "slight trapped nerve endings" then, he probably means that there is imaging evidence of nerve root s being slightly or mildly trapped at the lumbothoracic junction....I'm not sure whether that's like being a "slightly PREGNANT"--- whoever's reading that report has probably been engaged for 18 years. They hate commitment. You may feel some irritation, low back
