Jaw pain: This sounds like TMJ dysfunction, which is most commonly caused by bruxism ( chronic teeth grinding and/or clenching). Bruxism is often a stress-related habit. See your dentist for an accurate diagnosis. One type of treatment is a custom-made bite guard usually worn at night while sleeping. It is also vital to not brux during waking hours. Talk to your dentist for advice and treatment.
