A member asked:

My test for rubella came back nonreactive. whats that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No immunity: A negative test for rubella immunity indicates your body has never developed protective antibodies to rubella. You either never had it , were not immunized, or the test does not find a protective level of antibodies in your blood. If you are female, it means you could pass rubella to your fetus if u are exposed to the illness during pregnancy & get the disease.
