See your Ob ASAP!: Bleeding heavily like this is worrisome for an abruption. Placental abruption is when the placenta begins to separate from the uterine wall. It can be fatal to the baby. The symptoms are bleeding and cramping. You need to see your Ob right away, if you haven't already done so. An abruption can mean you need an early delivery. Best wishes!
