I bought a silicone based lubricant. this is not meant for scars. can i use it to help heal a scar? lot less expensive then ones labeled scar healer!

Yes: One of the keys to prevent scarring is to allow the wound to remain moist until healed. That is where the silicone helps. But if you apply what you have , a thin fim enough to keep the wound moist, it should do the trick
