Don't recommend: If you have anxiety - take an anxiety medication - not a sleep medication. Stilnox & ambien are both zolpidem. Are you cutting the Ambien to get 2 mg?

No: Ambien (zolpidem) is better used as a medicine to help you sleep. If you use it during the day, you can become drowsy which could be dangerous if you drive or need to stay alert. Please speak with your doctor about a better option. There are many.

No , for both drugs.: Ambien (zolpidem) and Stilnox are sedative hypnotics and are not used for anxiety. You need to see your doctor for your anxiety and he can prescribe a more appropriate treatment.
