A member asked:

Just asked a question about leydig cells and doctor mentioned" leydig cell half life" but i thought that those cells can't "regenerate" and once gone?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See comment: Leydig cells in the testis produce the hormone testosterone. With time as men age,the no. of cells my shrivel and decrease in number. As a urologist with special interest in this field,I've not heard of Leydig cells half life, nor can they generate.
