% risk: That question is pertinent but must be asked of the surgical/cardiology team(s) you are considering using. Each team has its own results and everyone doesn't have the same results. If your heart is otherwise normal and the rest of your body, lungs, kidney, blood stream, liver etc. are normal; then a risk of death of 5% or greater is excessive. A first rate team probably has a risk of less than 2%
