Not at all..: Acute kidney stone as it is passing down can cause some bleeding, thus urine testing for presence of blood and not stone. Many diseases cause blood in urine--bladder or kidney infection, tumors etc...So blood in urine does not necessarily mean stone. A spiral ct is an excellent test these days and can help detect where and how big the stone is. Consult your doc. Good luck.
