A member asked:

Please tell me blood tests for fibromyalgia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

None: Fibromyalgia is a 'diagnosis of exclusion' which means that the blood tests done during the work up of fibromyalgia are to rule out other possible diagnoses, such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, vitamin deficiency, & others. There is no test for fibromyalgia other than a physician taking your history & completing a thorough physical to determine if you meet the diagnostic criteria.
