Long exercise test: Ask him/her about getting a neurologist involved. The long exercise test is an electrodiagnostic technique wherein the compound motor action potential is measured 40-50 minutes after a few minutes of exercise. In this condition, there is a progressive fall of the amplitude of the CMAP. Or, take matters into your own hands and seek a neurologist's opinion before you do any tests.
