Nerve problem: If you have it in both arms and both sides of your face then there is likely a problem at the spinal column level - pinched nerves or possibly even higher in the brain. See a neurologist. I would keep a detailed diary of the symptoms - when they occur, exactly where it is located, how long it lasts, severity of the numbness, any associated symptoms - headache, tremor...

Parathesias: Could be the way you sleep, vitamin deficiency ,Vit D, B12 especially if vegetarian. Would check electrolyes like calcium, magnesium, potassium, consider thyroid disease,possible diabetes,lyme disease, autoimmune disease, stress(hyperventilation), and rarely multiple sclerosis. See a doctor/urgent care /neurologist.
