A member asked:

Is it possible to have period-like bleeding and cramps every month while pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really: I often get asked this question, but the answer is that the hormones of pregnancy are very powerful, and over-ride a woman's normal cycle. So menses and cramping just don't happen when one has hCG (the hormone of pregnancy) circulating in one's blood stream. Hope that helps!
