Not easy to dissolv: Simply, drug solubility is a phenomenon where a drug gets dissolved into a liquid to spread evenly throughout the solution. So when a drug is not soluble in water, it might, instead, stay clumped together. When a drug has poor lipid solubility, it will not cross into cells or tissues. That may prevent it from being absorbed by the stomach or into different organs (like the brain).
