What are the pros and cons of taking anxiety medications?

Anxiety medication: Anxiety medications can relieve immediate anxiety symptoms. Some of the medications, such as the Benzodiazepines, can cause drowsiness so it is important to test out the effects before driving or operating equipment. They could also be abused. There are other medication options like Buspar, (buspirone) anti-depressants or beta-blockers that could also help anxiety that are not addicting. See your doctor about possible choices.
