Possible scar tissue: Scarring or adhesions can be more likely to develop,the uterus can heal with a thinning of the uterine wall. The placenta can be attached in a dangerous location, or be too well attached to the uterus and not able to be separated, requiring a hysterectomy.

Adhesions # 1: Adhesions are when two or more internal abdominal parts like bowel attaches like "spider webs" to other internal organs. Multiple intra-abdominal surgeries of any kind can cause this problem including C/sections. Visually this looks to a surgeon on abdominal opening like a "cracker jacks box" which has received moisture prior to opening and everything is stuck in a rectangle-a surgeons "nightmare"
