Immune stimulants: monoclonals targeting tumor targets are in place. Rituxan identifies with CD20 on lymphoma. Avastin (bevacizumab) attacks VEGF on tumors and Erbitux and Herceptin are against epidermal growth factors. More recently checkpoint inhibitors such as ant iCTLA4 and anti PD-1 introduced. New monoclonals in trial targeting post translational modifications of MUC5ac in pancreatic and colon cancer.
