Tattoo aftercare: how can i take care of my skin and help it to heal?

Tattoo aftercare: Wash gently with a mild,unscented, antibacterial soap 2-3 times a day, and gently pat dry with a clean towel. Rub a thin layer of Aquaphor over the tattoo after washing. Repeat until completely healed, or the scabbing falls off. DO NOT pick at it. After it's healed, continue care by putting a gentle lotion on daily, like Cetaphil, to keep the skin healthy and the ink looking nice.
