Should i be afraid of a scheduled c-section? what are the potential risks?

Don't be afraid...: Scheduled c/sections are common & safe & Ob/Gyns do a lot of them and are good at doing them. The situation is controlled and calm, unlike many unscheduled c/sections that happen during labor. There isn't usually a lot of pain or discomfort during the C/S. Uncommon risks: Bleeding, transfusion, infection, injury to something such as the baby, bowel, bladder or other surrounding organs.
