A member asked:

Can you tell me in maybe 4 or 5 years down the road. should i consider vbac or stick with a scheduled c-section for a second child?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on lots: First, the type of C-section you had has bearing. Only your operating physician or your op report can answer that. Some types cannot have subsequent vaginal attempts. Next, why did you need a C-section - is that same thing likely to happen again ,like a really big baby or a small pelvis on your part. Finally, you have to consider the risk of uterine rupture with VBAC - are you willing to risk it?
