A member asked:

Why are scheduled c sections so early in the morning? is there a scientific reason or convenience?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

O.R. schedules: Operating Room schedules are the reason along with hospital staffing schedules which start at 6 to 7 a.m. Once the scheduled cases are done for the day, it allows more room later in the day for the usual and inevitable emergency C/sections.
