A reasonable risk?: A lot of people have avoided the serious complications of smoking tobacco. Less use does mean less risk! It is as simple as that. The risk of one cigarette per month is mostly social/cultural in nature but the real risk because of how addictive smoking is that it could readily progress to more. Of course, if one has respiratory illnesses etc. even one cigarette might aggravate symptoms.
