Here are some ...: Non-moving stones inside kidneys wouldn't induce pain or infection... until their distal move to cause ureteral blockage with or without superimposed UTI. But usually the patient has no urinary symptoms until the stone passes down to the very lower ureter +/- UTI. To sort these things out in detail, seeking pro-evaluation and counseling will help you.
