Dental wax: dental wax is not a filling material. If you have an infected hole in a tooth, a cavity, covering it with wax will not cure the infection. Stop trying to play Dentist and go see a real one before you do serious harm to yourself.

I have a few cavities & Im scared one will get worse to the point of pulling instead of just filling. So, I brushed my teeth and flossed, then took some hardened tooth paste and put it on my cavity, covering it in place with dental wax. Is this ok?
