Very simple: Local anesthesia to the skin, get big gage needle and aspirate the ganglion. It is very thick like and hard to aspirate.

Ganglion aspiration: The skin over the cyst is prepped, and a needle is inserted through the skin into the cyst. This can also be done using ultrasound.

With needle: The skin is prepped and cleaned in sterile fashion. Lidocaine can be used to numb skin. The a large gauge needle is placed through skin into cyst to suck out the viscous fluid and deflate the cyst.
