See your MDget testd: HypoPTH can lead to low levels of calcium in the blood, often causing cramping and twitching of muscles or tetany (involuntary muscle contraction),& several other symptoms.it is also encountered a/f thyroid or parathyroid gland surgery,& can be caused by immune system-related damage & a number of rarer causes. The diagnosis is made w/ blood tests. Fatigue, headaches, bone pain & insomnia can occur
