Lower lid swelling: Do you have allergies? Nasal congestion? Post nasal drip? When one sleeps , the head is at times extended and drainage from the nose can go retrograde into the soft tissue around the eye.Consider an antihistamines before bed and raising head of bed when sleeping. Please f/u with doctor as persistent swelling can get infected.
